Is anyone excited about this matchup?
It just seems like another game for Aggie fans.
Honestly, I don’t see much meat on this bone. If Aggies win we probably stay at 3 and if we lose we probably have the first round of the playoffs at Kyle.
I just don’t see anyone giving us much of a bump for beating this Texas team.
More than likely they will be out of the top ten anyway.
But if they beat Georgia then I think it means more to us.
And no we don’t give a shite about the rivalry and all that crap. You’re just another team to us. No more. No less.
We do like the tradition though. But we don’t really have a bad outcome here if we lose. Avoiding the SEC title game may be good.

The best rivalries are those where the rivals go out of their way to make sure the other side knows it’s not really a rival.
Especially when they do so a little under 3 weeks out from their game that’s not really a rivalry game.
And yeah, I guess UT - A&M is beyond a rivalry. It’s more like a blood feud.
You have knuckleheads on both sides who can deny all you want but everyone else can see it plain as day.
I’m glad Aggie-Horn has returned to the field. As a fan of college football, it’s simply good for college football.

We play South Carolina next.

ohhh... it's a rivalry game and it is on. Ticket prices reflect this isn't just another game.
FYI... we are about 50/50 in wins/losses in my lifetime. It's our turn. My last trip to Austin was in 2010 on a cold and windy night. Von Miller sealed the win with an interception late in the game.
Going for 2 in a row in Austin.

Did you just say you don’t give a shite about Texas??? Lmao. Let Texas do one little thing and 20 aggies will start threads about it. Don’t flatter yourself.

I can see where you are coming from. There is not much to gain and a lot to lose.
This would be a real test for A&M after playing teams with losing records for the last couple months. A loss here could start a tailspin, plus couple that with a loss in the CCG.
The other aspect is the risk of losing a perfect record by playing a good team. Which would suck for legacy purposes if this team did actually win it all.

Kind of a pre-melt, a flex, and a troll all in one post. Well done.

You guys really don’t watch any games do you? Our last 2 games were back to back road games against ranked teams with winning records
We beat the crap out of both
Florida…..

Aggie is in the CFP with a loss. So ….nothing riding on this for Aggie….just another Big 12 game…..
Sark needs the win but with all the close calls this season what is he really thinking…..
Arch needs to look like a pro prospect…..
This game will be like a match between OSU -Oregon not a rivalry game but meaningful for one of the teams….
All the pressure is on Texas.

Is that why you’re bringing it up three weeks early?

I really wish you'd stop this crap.
We play SC next, then Samford, and then yes, we play the sips and to say that game doesn't mean anything is ridiculous.
Regardless of where teams are record wise, that game will always mean something and if you don't recognize that, you didn't go to A&M or TU. TU will say that OK is their rival but go to their boards, and there is a 1700+ page thread on the Ags. Just stop.

This. Ags and Horns are littered with fans that have to go out of their way to make sure everyone knows they don't care about each other.
They do. The more they try to claim they don't just proves how much they do care.
And we should. Love this rivalry.

Lordy, I'm glad these retards belong to to the SEC now. But to be completely fair sneezy is probably a tech or horn sock/alt trying to reinforce mega dork aggy stereotypes. Nobody can truly be this goofy.

Im now convinced you are not an actual A&M fan.

No. Not yet.
I’m not looking ahead of South Carolina.
Then there is Sanford. I want to see A&M get out to a lead and pull starters at halftime.
Plenty to focus on now before thinking about that game.
