These guys are not stopping with this. They are also trying to encrypt over the air stations so there will be no more 'free TV'. They will all do it before it's all said and done. The issue is carriage fees but ESPN is also pushing for their ESPN Ultimate to be a part of the deal. I am going to end up with just the ESPN Ultimate before it's all said and done and depend on Pluto or another free service. The problem with that is they are owned by these companies Pluto (CBS), TUBI (Fox), Freevee (Amazon) and so on and so on. We screwed...

Eh, not without Congress helping them. ATSC 3.0 support in devices is going backwards because of the DRM crap they are pushing. Most OTA is still ATSC 1.0.

It does suck.

You know what sucks more? Three networks you have to hope you can reach with a rotary antenna so you can watch the one game on one network that has been chosen for you. Otherwise, wait until the scores are reported in your crappy 8 page newspaper on Monday.

I'm not dealing with it anymore. I bought an antenna, got 50 channels plus local channels with it, and subscribed to ESPN Plus app for $29.99/month. These two methods provide everything that I use a tv for and honestly, there's no need for me to go back to YTTV even when they do finally settle with Disney. I'm saving $60/month by doing this. Good enough for me.

I reluctantly dropped YTTV several weeks back and picked up an ESPN subscription to their app.

I can't say I am an overly happy customer but it is what it is. I'm not trying to watch any of that big 10, big 12, ACC bullshite anyways so I've gotten all the games I'm interested in watching.

..as long as the ESPN servers don't crash, which they have a couple times already.

No great answers here, unfortunately.

I just won’t watch.

I have Comcast Cable/Internet and Amazon Prime. That is as much as I’m willing to spend on home entertainment.

I am not chasing multiple additional subscriptions to watch games.

I’ll play more golf or read books.

Digital Antenna and sling for 5.99 on days I want more than whats on ABC. That's about all the tv I need anyway. I watch regular youtube for entertainment more than anything.

Yep I finally got the ESPN package deal for the season because the free YouTube feeds were getting cut off constantly. They must have AI cutting the feeds now.

Yeah I watched a guy who commentates play by play but also gets into discussion and honestly it was refreshing. I found myself less stressed. “Always Cocky w/ Rooster.”

And now the next time the Cocks play OM I have a cool community to have fun with.

Yeah I mean YTTV needs Disney more than Disney needs YTTV. Disney has their own streaming solutions. Google/YTTV just doesn’t have a lot to offer them

I already had the Disney+/Hulu/ESPN+ bundle, so I upgraded to ESPN unlimited for $14 a month more. It's only $4 a month more for ESPN with ads.

yup and I'm too stubborn to get other apps to watch it. Thus I go to friends houses or to bars.
