The portal is going to be a free for all. If Lane stays at Ole Miss I expect next year to be an upgrade in transfer talent. Lebby is in Starkville another year for sure and I have no doubt they are licking their chops. If I were Kentucky I’d keep Stoops another year and give him a bag of NIL money. Same as Drink in Missouri. He likes where he is and has done a great job.
Florida should’ve fired Napier last year. LSU pulled the trigger too quickly. Auburn is…..well Auburn. Auburn hasn’t had a year that they weren’t paying a former coach in 20 years. Great fans and atmosphere but poor leadership. Just my thoughts.

Stoops gave Zach Calzada $1.2 million in NIL. Not slamming Calzada but sometimes you just can't fix stupid.

I still don’t know how Calzada beat Alabama.

Lane isn't going anywhere. BUT if he does leave, then it's going to be about more money or a place where he knows he can win a natty.

LSU did the right thing by firing their AD
but they may have made a mistake in firing Kelly.

I’ve been saying the same thing

Yeah I agree with all of this. Will be interesting to see if UF and LSU are able to retain any of their rosters whatsoever.

Wait!! You’re kidding me? Lane might leave because there is better money and/or a chance to win a trophy? Holy smokes let me write this insight down. Sigh.

Remind us again...when was the last time Ole Miss won the SEC title? Florida, LSU, and Auburn have all won national titles and multiple conference titles. You have a wanted coach, but it is very, very, very clear all 3 are an upgrade. It is not close at all.

And when Lane leaves Ole Miss he’ll take half the team with him.

Nah. All 3 are dumpster fires.
There’s a new landscape in college football with NIL and the transfer portal. A good coach can win anywhere now. The bigger boys don’t get away with paying players under the table and reaping the results. It’s all out in the open now.
Good luck, losers.

Cry me a river on how shitty your program has become.

This and the million plus Auburn gave Arnold are the prime examples of just upping the NIL budget not necessarily leading to a better roster. You can spend a shite ton of money getting guys who aren’t worth anything.

You obviously haven’t been paying attention… BK was a disengaged POS. Should have got the boot after the Vandy arse beating.

If he leaves it will be for the NFL.
Not another SEC team.
Not another SEC team.
