The CFP rankings start tonight. Below is the CBS guess.

LINK

I would drop down Miami and ND . I would move up Oklahoma and Vandy.

Otherwise about right……

What do you all think

Texas at 10 fits Sankey’s agenda. Both the AP and Coaches poll had them at thirteen. We will see …

They have:

1. Ohio State
2. Alabama
3. Indiana
4. A&M
5. Georgia
6. Ole Miss
7. BYU
8. Oregon
9. Texas Tech
10. Texas
11. Miami
12. Notre Dame
13. Oklahoma
14. Georgia Tech
15. Vanderbilt
16. Virginia
17. Louisville
18. Utah
19. USC
20. Michigan
21. Washington
22. Memphis
23. Illinois
24. Mizzou
25. South Florida

I don't think there is any way that Alabama is #2 considering their bad bad loss to FSU.

They will put Indiana and OSU #1 and #2 but don't know in which order. A&M could sneak in to the #2 spot. Then you will have 4-6 as Alabama, Georgia, and Ole Miss in some order (Probably as listed).

I don't think that Miami is going to be ranked as high as they have them ranked.

If Oregon is ahead of Ole Miss I might riot.

The SEC went to 9 games with the promise that the CFP would take into account strength of schedule and strength of record. There is no reason Oregon should be ahead of Ole Miss.

Be prepared for it to happen. It’s just a beauty pageant and the committee has an agenda. Who is the chair this year?

This is going to be what I am most interesting. Both have two losses and Miami beat ND.

no way Bama is not #4.

The only drama will be among the top 3. I could see IU at #1 and Aggie at #2 just to stir up conversation and get tOSU folks excited.

Its interesting you guys have cried for weeks about how bad Ohio State's schedule is but we have beat more teams on that list than A&M and just as many as Bama.

I can go with OSU as #1 as defending champs. Indiana at #2 is not warranted based on SOS being important. They may be best team, but there is no way to know.

Big 10 is such a crap conference

I don’t see the issue. Everything will play out. Texas has looked average against bad teams but you can’t discount them beating then #6 OU by 3 scores and a top 10 Vandy team. Also they value quality losses and they lost by 7 to Ohio State. Who you moving ahead of them? They have a top 10 SOR and SOS too.

Everything will work out. Texas has the hardest SOS left in the SEC and have to play @#5 UGA and host #2 A&M.

There is no chance Miami is #11

Top 3 is going to be some combo of OSU, A&M, IU

Bama will be #4, UGA 5, Ole Miss 6

BYU 7, TTU 8, Oregon 9 I think

ND 10, Texas 11, OU 12

Beyond that, no clue. Miami and GT should be in the 20s, they would get destroyed by any top 12 team and would lose to most of the top 20. Also don’t like Virginia at 16, they would lose to probably 8 of the teams behind them on a neutral field.

Alabama IS without a doubt one of the two best teams in the nation based on the data we have at this point in the season. Personally I would have TAM #1, Bama #2, and then OSU based on SOS.

If the SECCG is between Bama and TAM it's gonna be a heck of a game.

I didn’t even realize UVA was 8-1. It’s been a LONG time since they had that good a start.

Bama at #2 won't happen, no need for them to be that drastic on a first vote.

And Bama still has problems and why they lost to FSU, which is a bad loss.

No one else in the top 5 have a bad loss.

I agree that Alabama looks awesome but they have that stain on their resume that looks worse and worse.

They will place ND wherever they want, but there is no logical reason to put ND above any other team of similar ranking.

They haven't beat anyone with a pulse other than USC who is not ranked

Yeah, we can keep saying that was early in the season and this is a different team, which is fine but in the end that one game is 12% of their body of work so far. Can't just be discarded.
