Why would he or any promising young coach go to LSU? It’s a place to retire and collect your last paycheck. Otherwise you are fired and your career is shot

Baker was a DC at Mizzou. Heupel was an OC at Mizzou. So both of them fit right in at LSU.

Not sure I want Heupel. I think I saw BK at LSU actually had a higher wining percentage than Heupel at Tenn seems a lateral hire.
