I would rather have played LSU with Brian Kelly. They were a zombie team. Now we get more of a wild card.

If Vandy waxes AU and Durkin feels like he has no chance at getting the job, then good chance AU will be lifeless when we go down there.

The interim coach dead cat bounce is a little overhyped.

This is my take. But LSU is super talented and Auburn has the Voodoo.

Would not have bothered me in the 2010s with Saban and significantly better roster but those days are over. It’s going to be hard to score on Dirkin in Jordan hare

For sure. LSU will be a tough game if we mess around. Auburn could be tough but if we can’t fare better than Kentucky, then shut the whole thing down. Haha.

Right now, there are too many unknowns to predict either way.

They may unite behind Durkin, but he also had a reputation for being a real tPOS to his players at Maryland. They could just as easily go into 2012 mode and mail it in for the rest of the year.

I think it’s fair to expect their defense to play well against us. They’ve performed against every opponent they’ve played. Hoping their offense continues the spiral though

The boogs are definitely playing with house money. Nothing to lose and can throw the kitchen sink at us. I too hope that they lose to Vandy and that Mercer plays them like 2011 Georgia Southern running the triple option. Any thing to have them down and ready to mail it in. I hate how good Auburn plays us at home. I would love for them to check out about half time and allow us to play the back ups.

As far as LSU.....I wish we were playing OU this week and LSU the next. A lot of unknowns as to what we might see. I know a leopard can't change it's spots, but they can damn sure try to camouflage.

Take care of business and leave no doubt. While LSU is talented, they are who they are offensively and defensively. They may have a little more fire to them the first half since King Prick BK isn't on the sidelines. They may throw a couple of wrinkles in, but I wouldn't expect too much.
As for the Barn, they are now rotating QBs the last 2 weeks and if you are making changes Week 11 at QB and it's NOT due to an injury, you are screwed! If they get a belt to that arse in Nashville this weekend, that stadium just might be half full when DeBoer comes to town.

LSU has some talent.

Auburn has no Oline and no QB.

But its difficult for these coordinators to come in and be the head coach. LSU got rid of their OC too, i think. Did AU fire anyone besides Freeze?

As far as I know, Barn only fired Freeze. So they still have 1/2 play callers with no QB and an awful OL like you said.
Corndogs did fire their OC.

Auburn's Defense is serious enough to make it close no matter what. I don't think losing Freeze hurts them at all, if anything it helps them try something new on offense.

I still can’t believe that the Kentucky defense did what they did last night. Auburn must have not even practiced for them based on how they performed.

I’m more concerned about LSU firing their OC than Kelly.

You can throw in a few wrinkles, but you can't install an entire offense. They may break a few tendencies and their initial play script show that, but they are who they are offensively. Now, you could see their backup QB come in before garbage time to be a change of pace.
