They have only won ONE game against a team with a winning record.

They lost (twice) to the only team that finished in the top half of conference.

The totall record of the teams they' e beaten is 22-51.

Last year they played #8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, and 16.

This year, they've played #9. 14,
and 16, and struggled to win in OT against those bottom 2.

They got an easy schedule to start SEC play for 2 years.

Oklahoma, not so much.

You right. Kroger Field was way harder than Kyle.

Wow this hasnt been discussed at all on this board.....

We would have LOVED to pick and choose to play the top teams last year with the team we had last year but we played who was in front of us, just like ATM is doing this year.

A narrative of just because we didn't play the tougher teams = an automatic loss is silly.

I am an Aggie, but this does not look right.

The 'horns played Georgia (#2, twice) and the Aggies (tied for #4). Granted, they won only one of those three games.

You really should've let another fan base make this thread. Yellow are your wins, green are the teams you're going to play. Really impressive stuff.

And as evidenced by your reply, it was the only meaningful win of your season

Congratulations? You beat an A&M team in its first year of a complete purge and rebuild., nice.

Texas had an easier schedule last year. Blew it against good teams (and needed ref help to beat Arizona State).

As of today, A&M is in the exact same position, with the exact same risk.

Going to be quite the ride in November.

Quit being salty. Everyone knows they got a gift of a schedule in their first two seasons. They can't hide forever.

Not sure what that has to do with anything?

Complete program rebuild is what it is.

You were saved a lot of it in the transition from Herman to Sark because of the hype of moving to the SEC

We were also in the same position in our first year because we fired Sherman and brought in Sumlin as we made the transition.

For both of us, although you had a full year with your new coach, the transition to the SEC prevented as much rebuilding as would normally take place when a coach is fired for disappointing results

The only thing that helped us have a decent year last year is that Elko came in with the new staff and was able to do a good job working the portal
