If we end up with Drinkwitz, we failed...

Period. And it should cost Starkville Strick his job, I don't give a crap if he hired Golden.
Just get Franklin or Golesh at that point if that's truly where we're at with this.

Wait…you actually think y’all have a shot at Kiffin?

You're absolutely right. Florida should be looking anywhere else but Drinkwitz.

you won't get Drink so calm the F down

Dude, you can't get Drink. You know it, we know it.

Well you aren’t getting Lane

GOOD. Nobody on our side besides a somewhat vocal minority wants that dude, I promise.

If he leaves, yes, I do think so.

Who do y'all realistically want?

As a LSU fan I can’t imagine Lane taking the LSU or UF job. I can see him staying in Oxford.

99% of us are all in on Lane. And despite what some big talking Rebel Bear fans will tell you, there's a decent shot he jumps. After that? A smattering of Franklin, a little bit of NFL, (Joe Brady/ Todd Monken) and some of us are quite bullish (no pun intended) on Alex Golesh. Those are really the names right now, but almost nobody wants Drinkwitz, no offense.
*EDIT* And he's currently the HEAVY betting favorite.

Y’all are going to end this coaching search in shambles with the sheer number of threads you’ve made

No offense taken, and glad y'all feel that way.
What is the thinking behind wanting Lane over other options?

Stricklin should already be gone

I think we all agree.

I mean, what he's done at ragamuffin arse Ole Miss speaks volumes. But he also reminds many of us of Spurrier, who also happened to idolize.

I'd be embarrassed with Dorkwitz. Someone with Gators ties who took a shine to Spurdog back in the day would be nice a la Kiffy, Schotty, or Fischy.

- Great offensive mind
- Like to troll/ talk shite
(both traits remind UF fans of Spurrier)
- Shows lots of passion on the side line (similar to Urban)
- Grew up idolizing Spurrier (might be other coaches who fit that bill, but that's another check mark)
- Has some familial ties to the university (ex-wife/mother of his kids is the daughter of John Reaves, former UF qb and coach)
Drink is a really good coach but I think he's a perfect fit for Mizzou. Sort of like how Mullen was perfect for Miss State, and never should have left, I feel that way about Drink at Mizzou. Although Drink is way better than Mullen because he can actually recruit, can actually make good staff hires, and isn't totally stubborn.

Some of our fans are going to be extremely disappointed.
