I miss the press conferences. I miss his political incorrectness I miss him chasing tail.. I miss him showing up drunk and challenging people to fight. I miss the whole damn thing. The man was the perfect guy for the job and LSU. Ran his arse off shortly after winning a national championship to hire a Yankee, who had never won shite. Big mistake LSU.

A radio station here in STL used to read the closed caption machine’s transcript of his press conferences. It was seriously hilarious. The machine could get about 75% of what he said correct.

I would not be that shocked if they screw this whole search up and end up hiring him back

If every school had a caricature of their state as a head coach, LSU wouldve won hands down.

This sounds made up and suspect as hell. There’s no machine ever built that could get over 50% accuracy with Ed’s voice

I remember one of the early knocks on Kelly being brought in was that being a yank, he was not going to fit in to the LSU culture. You could not say that about O-the shrimp boat captain was a perfect cultural fit and was definitely a coach right at home at LSU. You can’t underestimate that he was Louisiana through and through and that helps.

Ogre was born to coach LSU. He was great theater like real life The Waterboy movie. He needs to be back there for the sake of college football fans across all of the US of A.

I agree. Orgeron looked and talked like he had stepped right out of Central Casting for the role of “LSU football coach”.

He was perfect, too perfect. Alas, LSU could not stand to behold their own impeccable reflection…

He won a Natty and ran himself off. Dude literally had his girlfriend and her kids running practices while he was out getting drunk and fricking hookers at the pool.

I used to watch swamp people. They usually had subtitles on, especially for troy Landry. I guess if you live in Louisiana long enough, you don't need them. Understood everything he said.
