King of the SEC should be there automatically

Personally, I would say any of the top 3 could be ranked in any order within the top 3 and it would be fine.
I won't be surprised if the CFP committee has IU #1 in first poll

We will return to this post to mark the peak of the yearly roller coaster.

Texas AM should be #1.
Behind IU as second big ten team is laughable.

Maybe, but until someone challenges OSU defending champs why would ATM be ahead of OSU? Also Indiana has a better win at Oregon than yours against ND.
It will all sort itself out but it looks like ATM at best will be #2 cause IU and OSU will take care of itself.
Do you just want the rankings to say "We were ranked #1"?

There's an argument.
Ohio State has only one win over a currently ranked team (#20 Texas, 14-7). They only have one remaining ranked team (#21 Michigan) on their schedule.
Indiana has one win over a currently ranked team (at #6 Oregon, 30-20). While it is a more impressive win than OSU's, Indiana does not have a remaining ranked team on their schedule.
Of course, OSU and Indiana will play each other in the B1G Championship Game.
Texas A&M also has just one win over a currently ranked team (at #12 Notre Dame 41-40). A&M has two remaining ranked teams on their schedule (#19 Missouri and #20 Texas).
You could make a valid argument for all three teams, in any order. If all three end up 12-0, A&M would have the best resume.
Of note, Alabama has four wins (more than OSU, Indiana and A&M combined) over teams currently ranked, two of which are ranked in the top 10 and share Alabama as their only loss. I think we are seriously discounting Alabama as the best team in the SEC because they lost their season opener at FSU.

Yes, #1 in having the largest trans pageant on a school campus.
Draggieland 2025 was a sellout event.

Dude, you are like Aggie Krytonite.
You dance on the very issues they try to keep in the closet.

why? They beat ND at ND. IU beat Oregon at Oregon. Thats a better win. Also OSU is defending champs and havent stumbled in any of their wins, havent really played a tough conference game yet.

They probably have just as much right to be ranked #1 as OSU or Indiana. My guess is, in the committee's eyes, the current top three are probably interchangeable.

In the era of the Playoffs the importance of the AP poll in October arguing over anyone outside of the Top 4 is beyond worthless. All I care about is beating Mizzou for now.

Would say act like you been there before and it will work out. But…

Any chance they surprise with Bama #1 their win and SOS look much better than those 3 teams.

You don't want that curse. You'll be #1 at the end of the year if you win it all...when it matters.

You guys would he ranked number 1 if Elko wasn’t such a fat arse. The AP and Coach’s Poll both know coaches that big don’t win championships

Not unless all 3 ahead lose this weekend, and I dont think Aggie plays this weekend, so that would be a trick.
