He escaped the Kentucky and Mississippi State games. That would put them at 6-3 with Georgia and Aggie still to play after being preseason ranked #1.

I'm just trying to figure out how crazy this cycle is going to get . I for one don't want Texas open while we're searching for a coach. I'd think they would have an appetite for writing a bigger check.

I only think he’s in trouble if he loses to A&M at home

If Sark loses to Vandy and then gets stomped by A&M at home, the trendy thing to do will be to fire him.

Should never have been preseason #1

New offensive line and unproven QB?

Sark had major success the last two years, he’s not going anywhere unless he decides to leave

Even if the wheels fall off, he’ll have another year at least to right the ship. That’s if he wants to stay in college coaching.

He was a play away from the national title game the past 2 seasons. He could lose out and likely isn't going anywhere.

He might be told to hire someone to call plays so he can manage all aspects of the game. This would be a wise decision.

Sark is in trouble as soon as Kiffin says "Deal".

So did James Franklin.

Sarks not getting fired this season, but I think the rumors are true of his interest in the NFL. I think it is more likely that Sark leaves Texas after the season than it is for Texas to fire Sark.

Firing coaches the year after they were in the CFP is going to bite them in the a$$ when they try to hire their new coach. Mark my word.

I think Sarks future in Austin probably depends on whatever is happening or not happening in his personal life and whether he wants to continue to deal with NIL or go back to the pros and cash checks as a coordinator with little pressure and a ton of money in the bank without the drama of being a big time college guy.

He’s also had some health scares so that could also be a factor.

Let me paraphrase what you just said.

Texas will not fire their coach even though he doesn't want to be there.

You clearly do not understand the ego of Texas brass.

Vandy should be expected to win that game. Texas was expected to win the others

Sark's personal life is a shite show. Not judging, but not on caliber with CEO of Texas football.

I think Sark and Kiffin talk regularly and candidly.

I don't think Kiffin would want the pain that comes from UTx "supporters."
