How much different will LSU look without BK ?

I think that this could make things more challenging for our staff now that BK is gone. The new staff will create some uncertainty with what their game plan will be. But they still have elite players on their roster.

Depends on how many players leave and enter the portal between now and the game.

I thought the coaching change portal window wasn't a thing any more.

I don’t think many will leave in portal. The portal doesn’t open now until after new coach is hired and it’s only open 15 days. Bama got screwed of course. Now they MIGHT have players that say they are opting out now like Nuss and maybe the older Weeks since he is already fighting injury and they will get ready for draft.

I'd expect for them to be emptying the playbook against us. I also expect them to play a bit better than they have the last few weeks. You could tell with how BK was chewing out everyone he could that it must have been insufferable around those facilities for the last month or so.

They will play their most motivated game of the season by far, possibly with MVB at QB. We need to prepare for a war and be ready for everything

Sometimes a team that looks completely dead can find new life with an interim coach. Look at UCLA just this year. They were legitimately the worst power 5 team in football and most people were thinking they would go 0-12, they fired their coach and then posted back to back upset wins.
The LSU coaches and players show up may have a chip on their shoulder, don't expect them to mail it in.

With three losses already and a new coach I could honestly see a few guys saying frick it. It isn't like they are making the playoffs.
I'll say this, Lane Kiffin is about to be an extremely rich man no matter what happens. Secondly, if we go deep and or play for national championship, I'd look for Grubb to start gaming attention

I would typically agree however that isn't the case currently. We are far too deep into the season currently. LSU is playing for a better meaningless bowl game currently. That's all

We just don’t lose at home. We can see the finish line to the playoffs now. We will handle this LSU team.

I doubt they bench Nuss. Similar to our situation with Milroe, there will be talk about all he has done for the program. But also, changing so many pieces will be difficult. New coach will want an experienced QB. Too hard to take a first time starter on the road in hostile environment. Hell, we saw how that turned out in tallahasee.

They will play with recklessness in order to win - taking risks they wouldn't have taken with BK as HC
