He is a tough son of a gun.

Dude was clearly hurting, and he got knocked around a lot, but kept fighting.

I respect the heck out of that.

Thats it. Just a random opinion from an opposing fan.

He's injured and gun shy from terrible line play.

He wasn't great last year but was clearly better than this.

Just glad he isn't playing at Alabama. Some other fans would just be here to claim how Bama is ruining another players' career by ignoring injuries.

No he’s not. That’s his problem. He’s a Pussmeir. Never in my lifetime have I seen an LSU player as scared shitless on the field as he is. !

Been that way all year. You all sacked on one play so fast he only lost 2 yds…

meh, he's still upright. he could be Mettenberger 2.0 before the season's done

But I do give Mett credit for trying to get off the field on his own instead of just laying there crying especially after 4 sacks in a row

In my opinion, Nuss got a bad deal. Terrible offensive line, no real offensive coordinator, and a running game that could t make it past the line of scrimmage on most plays this year. He’s gonna be fine, our fans are delusional and like to shite on everyone when things don’t go our way. He’s gonna get drafted high and be a decent proto typical Qb. It’s just sad we couldn’t do better for the kid who literally waited his turn and stuck it out for his university

I think it’s a two things can be true at the same time situation. I don’t think he got a fair shake this year with our o-line, OC, running game. That being said, he has made some really bad decisions with the ball this year that have nothing to do with anything previously mentioned. There have been reports that he didn’t train as hard in the off-season as Burrow (2019) and Daniels (2023) did and it has shown!

He’s always been tough.

That guy about got broken in half against Vandy and he kept fighting.

I’m not sure what his situation is but I respect him as a player.

The mouth-breathers on TRant want him to be their scapegoat. Tom Brady wouldn't succeed with that line. Even last year, with two AA OTs, the middle was such a turnstile that Nuss spent the season running for his life. There is absolutely no run game to speak of. The blocking sucked for JD as well. That is the main reason he had so many rushing yards off of scrambles.

I agree with ya. And yeah he does make some ill advised throws but that comes with the gun slinger territory. Farve and Kurt Warner, both gun slingers both have made head scratching decisions but that’s the risk reward of these kinda qb’s. And I also heard the rumors of not working as hard, but there is never any solid evidence of that because you know how our fan base invents these things. How many times have they claimed one of our players is lazy, didn’t work hard, or had a bad attitude with no proof whatsoever to back that up. Now I do believe he was hurt, prolly worse than we know this year. I just really question the work effort thing when we know his Father is a Coach himself, he was praised at the manning camp. All I can really say is, we all know from the past couple years he had a huge arm, so why was his velocity down by a considerable margin all year? It’s not something you lose at his age, so I do speculate his injuries were real and wouldn’t be surprised at the end of the season if we find out they were way worse than Kelly and them were telling us.

He is tough and obviously hurting but definitely not the same QB as he was last year.

I’m just glad we can have an open and intelligent conversation about him here. It’s intolerable on the tiger rant, those people are truley the most embarrassing LSU fans alive and have zero knowledge to what they are actually saying

LSU built Burrow and Daniels into what they became but they didn’t do Nuss any favors this season.
