Mizzou lost 5 straight to ranked opponents.

Ole miss has 1 road win vs ranked opponents in the lane train's tenure.

Not saying they are bad teams, but when you dig into their records, everything is not as it seems.

Ya but we win our trophy games. Apologies for making Sellers look like a Heisman favorite last year.

Mebbe …. but I wouldn’t mind having a few of those 10-win seasons that Drinkwitz is quietly stacking up

And I forgot to mention, we'll lose to both this year.

FIFY

Don't forget he inherited a team coming off probation that had gone 4-8 the previous season and lost 5 straight SEC games.

That win was yesterday, which is a lot better than if it were three years ago. That’s coming from a close loss at a really hard to kill UGA. They are heading the right direction. Mizzou is in trouble unless this QB is an off the bench wonder boy.

He looked pretty poised as a true freshman getting thrown into an SEC road game. That said, starting against a top 5 team in two weeks isn’t ideal. At least we have a bye week so that he can practice with the 1’s.

Not confident in Kirby Moore though to adjust to his strengths.

Only two of these games were this year and in the loss his team had a two score lead in the third quarter.

We need a pocket passer for hardy to be better, so I’m actually more excited moving forward.

I think Ole Miss is dangerous but their defense likely means they won't win the playoff.

If playoff rankings were determined by factoring in previous years performance then you’d have a case here. But they’re not. That’s why they are called seasons. Also, we nearly beat UGA in Athens and were arguably a 4th and short that was nearly stopped from winning the game. That said, we competed in a complete game with UGA - a loaded and talented roster by all accounts. It was a one possession game. Fools gold? Okay.

Just hoping Ole Miss gets lucky and beats South Carolina this weekend.
