We run some much tight bunch formations feels like we are running into an 8 man box

They had an outstanding D line but we tend to lose 2 yards every time this happens.

I don't think they can really run in any formation. They have to get creative in shy short yardage

Exactly. It’s a wasted play. Throw a screen.

Probably not but we also don’t block the DL very good. #93 for Cocky was in the backfield all day.

Dude was not huge but smoked Proctor more than once.

93 was a fricking animal out there.

I wanna also say - our RB talent is SO down from where we have been traditionally. Not hating - I know the effort is there. I see almost no way that Crowell doesn’t come in and play a lot next year. We just don’t have any explosiveness or burst there. I like what Hill does in the passing game but our runners just aren’t it. Maybe Dear can make a jump over the bye week. This staff has shown a willingness to play lots of guys.

If we cannot find a run game, we are only going to have more teams squeeze our ability to throw underneath and test our QB's ability to hit receivers on deep verticals.

#6 was good. #93 made enough plays to where I want him on our squad. They both made today tough for our guys that’s for sure.

I don't think Jam Miller helps.

Jam looks insanely slow now. I wonder if he is still having the aftermath of a concussion. I have been there, makes you feel like you’re moving in slow motion.

Jam is moving in slow motion. I think maybe running back is a position that you just portal in. Bama has had a bunch of busts at RB it seems.

In light of that Hill has been coming on nicely.

This isn't happening. It's a logjam at RB, and it looks like Hill is the #2 guy after Jam.

Hill has been solid in the passing game, but he’s only really broken through the line when the opposing defense has started giving up. I think we really just need a rebuild at OL and RB going forward because our run blocking isn’t opening lanes.

He made some key plays catching the ball on the game-tying TD drive.

What do you think is happening next year?

Proctor and Brailsford probably going first round. Roberts, GVDM, and Dewberry, are out of eligibility.
