But finally they just started getting him the ball quick or directly so nobody else could frick it up.

Love that last play being the same base as the two point convo.

Has anyone else noticed how hard it is for defenders to tackle him?

Dude is a tank.

He wasn’t even happy after the game. Knew we should’ve done so much better.

Just rewatched that last TD. I swear the db gave the TD signal.

He did. I’m assuming their coaches told them if we got a first down to let us score. Weird strategy based on our kicker imo.

Yes, they obviously let him score so they would get the ball back. I didn't want to kick, so I was grateful.

Had Shane been a Bama fan, he would've known better.

A first down would have been inside the 15 and we also had timeouts left. No coach is going to bet the game on a kicker missing a ~28 yard FG.

I like those odds better than trying to go 80 yards in 30 seconds with no timeouts.

Our last TD was a gutsy call…
I was just thinking; ok, just no trick plays that take us out of field goal range, we just need about 5 yrds.
I was yelling “nooooo” at the tv right before he scampered in for the score. Stressful but fun game!

If Bernard isn’t on many All-American lists, there is something wrong.

Hate that he's not a captain.

I understand the strategy of letting a team score but you do that with at least over a minute left.

Normally, no. But Beamer should’ve known our guy had never attempted a game winning FG and hasn’t looked good with far less pressure. Plus there’s the possibility of a bad snap or even blocking it. Either way the odds aren’t good but I would’ve put the game on the kicker.

I agree, but I understand the idea. We would have centered the ball and made it little more than a PAT. Tally has been money inside 40 so it’s just a question of do you want to lose hoping for a bad snap or with the ball in your hands.
