I sense a big Vol victory this weekend.

We play by far our best ball when we are under dogs because we are more loose and take more risks and just seem to come out much more fiery and pissed off.

Joey is going to come out slinging it with reckless abandon hitting deep shots before the running game gets going.

Dline is going to generate more pressure than Simpson has seen all season long and we are going to harass tf out of him.

Vols start off hot and this time deliver the knockout punch and cruise from there.

Tennessee 44

Alabama 33

I feel a huge beat down coming as well.

Joey is going to come out slinging it with zero fear and the defensive line is going to have its way

Vols by 10.

Three forced turnovers. One interception, one strip sack fumble and one RB fumble coming to a TV screen near you.

Joey freaking Football will get more help from his running game than Simpson will.

Both will hit 300 plus yards passing.

Bishop for 120 yards on the ground.

I have a damn good feeling about this game. We can run the ball and you can't. We have the best o-line in the entire conference and the dline is also pretty nasty.

Your QB is going to be our bitch this weekend. Our pass rush on him will be relentless. I hope your other backs can block well.

We are the number one scoring offense in the nation and have THREE WRs ranked top 50 nationally in yardage and top 10 in conference...all three guys.

Then there is Bishop at RB who turned in a Dylan Sampson level performance in our last game.

Tennessee 's offense is a completely different animal than anyone that you have faced. And what's crazy is we can still improve a lot. Joey literally just arrived on campus during our fall camp. We will get more potent each game.

If you try to double trip team our round 1 WR, CB guess what? We have two 5 star talents right beside him to throw to in Matthews and Start who have both balled out this year as well.

Joey Aguilar out performed Ty Simpson against their only common opponent UGA
Posted by BellsOfTheGrind on 10/15/25 at 12:39 pm

A lot of you refuse to give Joey freaking Football his flowers.

That's fine, because he will have a fair shot to prove himself head to head against Simpson on Saturday.

However, both have gone up against the same defense in UGA. Let's compare how each QB did:

Simpson: 276 yards passing 2 TDS 0 ints and 1 TD rushing

Aguilar: 371 yards passing with 4 TDs 2 ints and 1 TD rushing

Against the same defense, Joey Aguilar posted almost 100 more yards passing and threw for twice as many touchdowns.

I want to know why exactly is the rant and the national media just ASSUMING that Simpson is the better QB?

Also, he did get blown out by FSU. Joey hasn't been blown out by anyone at Tennessee so far and would be undefeated if not for his FG kicker.

Okay guys.

But when Joey Aguilar out performs Simpson this weekend head to head in stats AND gets the dub, i just hope you stubborn haters finally acknowledge Joey's greatness at the top of NCAA QBs.

No other QB in the country has as much production as him these past 3 years. That's a fact.

Joey Aguilar started the UGA game off 14/14 which is a record BTW. You will give him his flowers eventually whether you like it or not.

#1 in Total points scored
#3 in Rushing yards per game

Have fun gumps! We are coming to Tuscaloosa to make a national statement. Dline generates more pressure than anyone in the country.

But most significantly, Joey freaking Football has ice flowing through his veins.

Yeah we are going to march up and down the field at will.

We have 3 WRs ranked in the top 50 by yardage nationally, the number one SEC QB by yardage and Bishop is a beast at RB.

Good luck stopping us.

Best o-line since the Fulmer days.

Vols are the only team in the country with three receivers ranked in the top 50 by receiving yards.

Chris Brazzell: 536 (13th)
Braylon Staley: 431 (46th)
Mike Matthews: 416 (50th)

And good luck stopping our dline from hitting Simpson over and over early on every single pass.

And most of all. Good luck stopping this warrior of a QB

BallSack did predict Joey Aguilar would have a long pass resulting in a TD.
