How can Notre Dame at #13 be justified?

Notre Dame has 2 losses and no wins against ranked teams, yet they are sitting right on the playoff bubble. I know that they get media favoritism but how can a top 15 ranking even come close to being justified? What's the rationale? They shouldn't even be ranked.

They dropped 50 on an Arkansas team yall struggled to beat at home.

They have losses to number 2 and number 4.

Because a 2 loss ND will never be left out of the playoffs and they will always be the first 3 loss in the pecking order

ND will sort itself out this weekend. Either they will beat an improving USC team and justify their ranking, or they won't and will fall out of the discussion.

Because they played a close game versus Texas A&M

It’s not what you wanna hear but that’s the truth

I don’t think it’s right and I don’t think they deserve to be ranked where they are, but the same logic applied to why they kept our little brother Uran rank so high for four weeks after they got destroyed by Ohio State

A quality loss lol to an undefeated team

Same old committee crap. Putting emphasis on losses over good wins. Notre dame is playoff bait. Hope they get an sec team in the first round…adios!

- They still have 2 losses
- They played Arkansas at Arkansas' bottom
- They have zero wins against any decent team

TV revenue is going to be even more of a factor from here on out.

The new Pope grew up as a Notre Dame fan.

And of course, they did it just to piss you off.

They're still a really good football team, despite the losses. No shame in losing to A&M or Miami, and I think they're a better football team at this point. QB has matured and is doing a fine job. Best RB combo in football. A lot of size and strength on their lines.

Like someone stated, we'll know whether they truly belong after the USC game.

I agree that they're too high. I'd have them around 20 at this point.
