Arkansas has had this game circled on their schedule every season since we started playing them again in the Southwest Classic starting in 2009.
And while they have only won a single game since we joined the conference in 2012 they always bring their best. Both teams typically walk away with injuries to significant players. The game is always a back and forth slug fests and for whatever reason A&M almost always gets a bounce their way to win.
My theory is we made a deal with the devil when we joined the conference to always beat Arkansas but in exchange we could never beat LSU. It's not the greatest deal ever but it's what we got until we broke the pact in 2018 in the 7OT frick fest win over LSU. All that to say our immunity of defeat against the hogs is gone as shown in our 2021 loss to them.
Now they're off to a rough start but have put Bobby P at the helm to turn tFlagship around. This is the first time we'll play in Fayettnam since 2013. Our defense has yet to travel with our team on an away game as seen in the Notre Dame game where we gave up 40. The pigs have a damn good offense and they're about to run hog wild all over us as A&M will struggle offensively with Moss out due to injury.
In short and for you TLDR's, Arkansas can't possibly lose this game. Here's to our first loss of the season and congrats Arky fans.

This game has always been played like a rivalry game. Money lines are not a safe bet with these type of games.

Their QB leads the entire country in total offensive production last I checked and is a real deal dual threat and Bobby Petrino is in charge now. Not a team to underestimate. They are looking for their first statement win under Bobby.
