A look at the renovated Florida Field leaked out of the athletic building. Certainly some interesting timing

That looks nice. Actually top notch. I heard there will also be reduced capacity though.

A little to put in chairbacks, but slightly offset by adding seating elsewhere. Like up above the east side, some more in the south end zone.

I don't see how this is a bad thing. Most stadiums need less seats and more amenities. I wish VHS would go to chairbacks everywhere but the student section and reduce total number of seats to some extent.

Sounds like it is only around 4000 lost seats when all is said and done. So nothing crazy, certainly not as bad as many feared.

LSU realistically has 95,000 for “record capacity” games. The upper decks are higher than a lot of programs so I don’t blame anyone not interested in sitting there
The swamp rendering is very nice btw

Are there any discussions of possible venue name changes ?
I kid, I kid.

Where are the renderings for the kitchen?
On a serious note, if they end up gutting the concourses, and adding more shade, it will probably pay off in the long run. Fans just expect more comfort nowadays, if they are going to forego staying home to watch games on TV.

Looks pretty good.
I know yall hate Stricklin but if there is one strength he has as an AD it’s facility development. Which this day and age isn’t all that important anymore.

Yeah too bad he doesn't know anything about sports.

Yea he’s one of those AD’s with a heavy marketing background and isn’t really a sports nut.
His hires when he was at state were not good either. He did a good job on the marketing side and facility expansions though

The crazy thing is UF has had like 20 straight sellouts with freaking Napier as a head coach and in the worst period for Gator football since the 1940's. Many schools can cut capacity, but UF really isn't one that should.

From the press release:
"Kitchen Stadium will only source locally grown products with an eye on carbon footprint and sustainability."
TheCAW tried to fricking warn us!!!

Gator fans have become South Carolina fans in the last few years. They keep showing up no matter what. I seriously admire and respect the loyalty.

The stadium already right sized, so they couldn't reduce by too much.
It is impressive that despite the crap on the field, actual ticket sales have remained incredibly strong.
