Without a run game, they are not making a CFP
Maybe when they come back to the board during bowl season they will acknowledge I was right

Here we go with we tried to tell OU fans thread lol… maybe Mateer is just hurt ? Huh thats a thought. The only sec team that can run the ball effectively has been Missouri and A@M first time Missouri played a team with a pulse they didn’t look to hot. . It’s gojng to be hard to run on any elite sec defense . So no you really didn’t tell us anything thx for playing the though . Atleast put your team avatar on so we can see how well your team runs the ball lol.

Wrong. I don’t see any other fans calling for their portal pickups (J. Ott) to be returned back to the portal.
Blaylock is going to be a star but face it, you guys especially are underperforming in the run game

If he was hurt you shouldn't have trotted him out.
He got whipped by Texas front 7 and made mistake after mistake, thats on him and not his thumb.

Well if a guy isn’t playing is it you can’t run the ball or ? Of course they want their money back lol. It’s not a running back issue which if you knew it all you would know …… it’s the OL. 4 injuries since wk2 keep trying to prove your point .

In his post game presser Mateer said his finger is fine and did not hurt.

I tried telling them Michigan and Auburn weren't very good teams either.

OU fans said he looked AWESOME in warmups and Dr. Shin posted a video on Twitter and everything. Was that all bullshite?

If you listened to his presser he said his hand was bleeding and it was mostly mental from not taking reps in practice … why because he couldn’t he was hurt. …..Don’t flatter yourself horns … your defense was given 3 turnovers and you score one offensive td …. Mateer will never blame anyone but himself . Have you seen him play that bad all season with his passes ? I know the answer no .
You will lose atleast two more games UGA and. Vandy and probably A@M.

You’re right. Dr Shin did say one of side effects of the fracture could be bad decision making and throwing to opposing CBs

Yah you could play qb and do so well 17 days after breaking your thumb lol….. good shite .
Posted on 10/14/25 at 9:13 am to Soonerd78
We probably lose a few more and you’ll stand there mouth agape wondering about what could’ve been if Mateer hadn’t bullied your shite coaching staff into letting him play
What is even the point of being a Sooner fan if you’re losing to Texas like this. At least you have softball right? Lmao

Face it.
Mateer and the sooners got curb stomped.
OU has not scored an offensive TD against Texas in 3 of the last 4 games.

We didn't need anybody to tell us that, champ.
We've been bitching about it since game 1.

I think BV is getting massive pressure from his AD and boosters to beat Texas. Losing 3 of 4 years is going to light a fire and thats why he trotted him out early. A win against Texas weighs more than others on their schedule, same for us.
