Does OU go 2-6 in conference again?

It’s looking like a big possibility to me. Hard to win SEC games with a bad O-Line.
Question for the Sooners.
If this does occur, are you glad you made the move to the SEC? Especially watching Texas Tech most likely going 12-0 in the Big 12.

They cannot yet even begin to fathom the extent of the mistake they made. OU and Texas are fraudulent programs that propped themselves up playing weaker competition in the Big 12 and Southwest Conference/Big 8. If they had been playing in the SEC for the last 90 years, they would have one natty a piece.

Based on their remaining schedule, it is possible.

If they go 4-12 in the SEC their first two years, I’m pretty sure they can fathom it.

Knee jerk reaction. Remember what yall were saying after FSU hammered Alabama? OU needs to get their QB healthy.

You better win the game this Saturday. You don’t want your only SEC win being one where the SEC head office had to make a statement about the officiating.
No pressure

No regrets at all. The move forced OU to change everything about its approach to the game. The program was decimated so the timing sucks but it’s for the best in the long run.
Also, picture a road conference slate of Manhattan KS, Stillwater OK, Lubbock TX and Ames, IA. Enough said

so that's what, 2 fewer than Georgia has in 90 years? Wow!

Last year we won ten games with a QB with one arm and other injuries, and beat you with Drew Pyne.
It ain’t all about the QB, like it was for you in the Big12.

I've said Texas and Oklahoma were better off staying in the Big 12 because there would be less competition for them there . Plus Texas and Oklahoma would make the playoffs most of the time.

Good god you are stupid. You seem to have completely forgotten Bear Bryant went 0-3-1 against Texas at Alabama in bowls.

I mean OU has 6 starting Quarterbacks in the NFL right now we have been pretty good at that posistion.

Can Texas or OU win a SEC game this season without an obvious blown call not giving them a TD? TBD

Difference with Alabama and OU is it was Alabama’s first game into the season. It’s very normal to have a rocky start in the first game. Now their o-line is gelling while ours is made out of glass and falling apart. It’s been an ongoing issue for us in the last several years. Not even an elite QB can fix the issue. Venables had the opportunity to clean house on the offensive side but retained all the shitty staff and only changed the OC. OU is in for a bumpy ride for the rest of the season. You’re nuts if you think a healthy Mateer can get us through the rest of the tough games.

The Oklahoma offense has really gone off a cliff.
OU has lost 3 of 4 to Texas. In those 3 losses, OU hasn't scored a touchdown. The combined 2nd half score in those 3 losses is Texas 54 - OU 0.

Our problems are systemic and go far beyond the Oline. What conference we play in is irrelevant given the scope of the problem.
I don't see any teams in the league who don't have major problems so I don't know why anybody would be jaw-jacking at Oklahoma.
Glass houses and all that.
