Ohio State is just defacto penciled in at #1 every single week. Everyone thinks they're the best team.

Based on what, exactly? A 7-point win over Texas at home in week 1?

Look at their fricking schedule.
They play 1 ranked team all season - Texas.

Meanwhile over here at Alabama, we've got 6 ranked teams to play, plus we played 2 P5 OOC games.

This is fricking bullshite, and something needs to be done about the huge disparity in scheduling. Especially since in cfb, losses count 3x as much as a win.

I can’t stand how the BIG acts like it’s on equal footing to the SEC. Our league is so much more difficult on a weekly basis. It isn’t even close.

If NIL has done one thing good for NCAA football it's that the parity level has pushed it to the equalizer so it's a much more competitive sport now. I don't think anyone looks like they're separating in NCAA. Indiana? Miami? I don't know. Next week they'll probably lose.

Nobody can fill their roster with 3 deep to dominate. Even the highest spending rosters have vulnerabilities because everyone else is spending.

This is not near as horrible as putting ND at 13.

At least Ohio State is winning.

Here comes all of the lifeless, bog-sludge, trolling Buckeye fans that inexplicably lurk on this SEC forum to attack this thread with their usual nonsense in.....3....2...1.....

Yeah they just had a tough game against Illinois

Coming off a tough stretch against Grambling St., Ohio, Washington, and Minnesota

In that same time span we've played 3 top 20 opponents.

Duck, you're about to be bombarded by Buckeye fans telling you that Illinois, Wisconsin & Rutgers are legit teams that are not to be slept on. And that their qb who throws for 200 yds a game should win the Heisman.

Between OH ST and ND both these schools are in the drivers seat every year. Play at most 3 top teams a year during regular season . Rest are teams maybe ranked 50 or lower. Walk into playoffs well rested . While in the SEC its pucker up every week and hope you only come out with maybe a loss or two.
