Do you think OU is lacking a running game, or is the OL struggling? I can’t figure out what is off

It’s time to have a conversation about our oline, rb and wr coaches.

GG Land Thieves

Hopefully we found something in the 3rd Quarter that we can carry forward this year.

Burks looks electric, and that pretty much the only skill player I can name in your team thus far that pops out.

Thanks. As much as I bag on Sark (and he deserves it imo) he had them ready Saturday.
We will still lose to Georgia because Sark will almost always be outcoached by an elite coach but the thought of being able to ruin the ags perfect season (should they come to austin undefeated) would be a lot of fun.
Ags offense is really good as is our defense. that'll be a fun matchup.

This game if you look at history usually the winner has more running yards. And it was true yesterday. Ott has been a bust but our oline can’t make a hole and we abandon run too often plus won’t settle on rb rotation.

That's the biggest surprise to me. I thought he was a the real deal when you got him.

One game proved everything Sooners thought they knew was wrong.

Ott is a bust because in NIL era some players think once they get paid they can skate without effort. He hasn’t played much because of practice effort. He had a busted block yesterday and completely whiffed not taking on a defender. Its not just his running its his blocking that also sucks

Ott is #0 watch him be slow and that meant RB had to cut inside. He should have taken on the first guy coming in to leave the RB options.

Dang that was pretty egregious and a good example of how it’s not always about the coaches. Sometimes players just don’t do what you know they’ve been coached to do.

All of the above.

There were drops, Kanak and Sategna didn't help much, the holding calls on the O line (not bogus calls, they were holding).

On the plus side, Sandell was 2 for 2, no doinks or short of the crossbar kicks.

What a dick move to post this. I understand the rivalry but this is a bit much. I humbly and publicly tip my hat to the Texas football team and the best you can do is "HAHAHA your injured QB SUCKS" Absolutely zero class. I'll tell you something, pal - if the roles were reversed I'd do the exact same thing

GG OU. Was anyone's game until that punt return (and yes I saw the block in the back).

Tip of the hat to Mateer for playing hurt. Probably just wasn't able to get the necessary reps during the week to fully prepare.

Anyway hoping it's a good omen for the rest of the season that we were able to eek out a few points against a stout defense.

Would be cool to meet up again in the playoffs
