But since you mentioned Foley and the assistant AD being in charge. Name the coaches hired by Foley? Donovan? Urban? As an Assistant AD he had a hand in Spurrier? Not sure your arguments hold water.

I'd love to give Foley credit for Meyer, but Bernie Machan was the incoming UF President from Utah, needless to say who made the decision to hire Meyer.

I'm not sure what to tell you. Bernie Machen left Utah and immediately hired the coach who worked under him at Utah.

What Florida needs is a guy like Nick Saban to come in and let everyone know he is in charge like he did at Alabama. Then once this coach starts winning he torches the barn and kills the rats. (Bear Bryant quote).
Billy might be slowly doing that. We will see. It amazes me when a fan base starts rooting against their school to get rid of a coach. Pissed off you beat Texas. Something is really wrong down there. CAW has bitched about Disney. Maybe Mickey Mouse is the problem?
