Cotton Bowl stadium crumbling down

I thought OU and TX poured a couple hundred million into this dump. I can’t tell. This old thing just looks worse and worse every year.
Is it safe to bring your family to this place? The best venue in the world is 20 minutes down the road. Why not go there?

I thought they were going to demolish it but Sooner and horn paid to put on a bandaid on it, and then found Sponsors to pay them $1M each a year to play there.

I wish they would just play home and home games. But I get the experience of how the stadium is split 50/50.

I have not been, but I was always pissed at spending $200 every year and never being able to get the game as a student.

frick Jerry World. We’re in the process of renovating Cotton Bowl. I’d rather keep our tradition at the fairground.

Maybe. I’ve been to Jerry world CFB games lots of times. I’ve actually seen the Oklahoma state cowboys play there as many times as I’ve seen the Dallas cowboys play there. Same for Mizzou.
I’m pretty sure the fans make the atmosphere…

I’d rather go to H&H over Jerry World.. but I hope the game stays at the fairgrounds for the rest of time.
