If UNC joined the SEC, that's a small stadium

I bring this up because I think there's a gentleman's agreement between UNC and the SEC. It is rumored that the move will happen in 2030 when the exit fee from the ACC drops to $75 million, possibly less, given the litigious nature of that deal.
So, if UNC does join the SEC, they would immediately have the 2nd smallest stadium in the conference (50,500). Only Vandy's stadium would be smaller (dropped to 35,000 post renovation).
I'm just surprised that UNC's football stadium is that small.

Maybe but they also have a 21,750 seat basketball arena which would be tops in the SEC.

They’ve basically had nothing to cheer about in their history so I’m not really surprised.

I thought capacity at Rupp was right at 20,000.

Not a single Big 12 school that pathetic.
There is no school you could add to the SEC to increase shares, as much as dropping Vandy would.

Vandy is a charter member, the SEC would get rid of Texas before Vandy.

Baylor and TCU are both astronomically better members than Vanderbilt. And we made fun of them in the Big 12.
Vandy is like the midget in high school. Everybody loved him.

NC State has a much better football stadium and fanbase than UNC.
Basketball is certainly UNC but even then I thought basketball didn't matter.

Rupp Arena at the University of Kentucky...
While it is the home court of the Kentucky Wildcats, Rupp Arena is not part of the University of Kentucky. It is owned by the Urban County Council of Lexington, Kentucky and operated by the Lexington Center Corporation (also known as Central Bank Center).

The record crowd for Rupp is a couple hundred more than UNC and is around 24k. Tenn's record crowd is 25k.
