That's what Pavia did... Canlme to our house talking like a drunk sailor. He practiced QB kneel during warm up, mouthed off to fans, even brought his loud mouth boyfriend to help out. He deserved the extra TD and the mouthing he got from fans as he was exiting OUR house. Don't let the door hit ya...

All they did was prove what he said to be true. If Vandy played their game, they win by 14. Instead Pavia played his worst game, they turned the ball over and let Bama hang in the game. Sound familiar actually.

Pavia is gonna Pavia…that arrogance is a big part of his success. That said with the shite he’s been talking about Alabama it was surprising to me that Alabama didn’t beat the brakes off of them in Tuscaloosa. A couple of TOs in the red zone, not gifts to Alabama but also not “normal” Pavia’esque and he may have backed up all that trash talk. Vandy is probably as good as they have been in my 60 years and it ain’t just Pavia. Alabama beat a good team.

He played his arse off. Vandy was very good and played a really good game.
If he doesn’t fumble on that second drive, it’s a completely different game. It was a great play by the bama defender, but he was a cvnt hair from being down.

Pavia has feasted on the bottom half of the league. The Alabama win last year elevated him but what has he done since then besides beat up on .500/sub .500 teams?

Agreed, although the drunk Gump at the end of the game running his mouth at the kid was a little over the top.

It’s very convenient that you assert that Pavia’s fumble at the Alabama 8 would have changed the game but managed to totally ignore the interception Alabama threw at the Vandy 7 on their first series.
Why would that be? Why does Vandy get the benefit of “what if” but Alabama doesn’t?
We all know why.
Alabama dominated the time of possession by 15 minutes.

Alabama had 25 first down to Vandy‘s 17
Alabama punted once on eight possessions. They scored on five. The other two were an interception at the Vandy seven and a missed field goal.
The surprise shouldn’t be that Alabama won by 16. The surprise should be that the margin wasn’t much larger.
