Why does Alyssa Lang always sound like she's gushing with excitement, very annoying

It doesn't matter if she's in studio or on the sideline, she's always talking like a giddy 13 year old describing her new boyfriend. She'd probably describe a gruesome injury in that fashion too.

Howard stern used to have a segment of name that sound. It was usually a choice between someone mixing some food or sex lol. Can’t say the dude’s show was boring in the early days

People's voices can definitely trigger others. Lang doesn't bother me that much. But Joe Tessitore does. I literally have to mute games he calls. He goes way over the top, and it annoys me. Not crazy about Beth Mowens on her calls, either. Anyhoo, I can unmute if something comes up like a penalty or a review.

I'm notna Carolina fan and I enjoy how much of a homer she is.

I mentioned this same thing to my wife the other day when she was doing an interview. What bothered me most is she gets to gushing/giggling while she is asking the question and it is hard to understand what she is asking.
