If you can pull Kiffin he's the obvious choice. Otherwise I like Drink and Lea. Florida needs a coach that has proven he can build and sustain a program in a power conference. If they take a risk on an up and coming coach from a smaller school and it fails it could mean the end of that program for quite a while.

How long has the problem at Florida been going on? Florida will need to make some administration changes before hiring the next HC.

Recruiting dynamics are drastically different with NIL now. Drink basically has a blank check with lower expectations in CoMo. He’s close to home in MO and has basically built the program from ground up to his liking.
It’s not slight to Florida, I’m just saying Drink and Mizzou are peanut butter and jelly.

I dont see why Drink would leave for any other SEC program really.
Mizzou is rolling (for them) with little pressure.
He seems happy there.
UF only hope is Lane Kiffin or Jedd Fish.
After that it's probably Golesh.

Only resources needed in 2025 CFB is NIL. iIRC mizzou tops Florida in NIL for the year.
