even mentions office being in Birmingham, implying the REC has it’s tentacles wrapped around it

Bama in the Sec offices go figure. Been that way forever.

Then why were they protecting OU?

Just use cameras and AI for officiating.

That would be an abomination. You could most likely call a penalty on every play. Especially with AI taking the rules literally. That would ruin football even worse. There are too many moving parts in a football play subject to rules interpretations that would make this awful.

Exactly! Ou beat an extremely overrated Michigan team and were gifted a win against Auburn.
ONLY reason OU was/is ranked that high is b/c they wanted a 'tough' opponent for Michigan and when TX beats them then TX will have a big time win that shoots them up the rankings. Watch.
Take away when Michigan plays Ohio St. they literally play NOBODY other than a propped up USC who has no business being ranked.
So what does the powers that be do? Rank OU high so if Michigan beats them it's a huge road win and if they lose like they did then it's a 'quality' loss.
That game TX will get all the calls.

This is when I enjoy the fact we have some talk show guys that don't solely depend on big corporate money to be successful. People at ESPN or similar would get fired if they talked about this on air.
A couple weeks ago I watched GT-Clemson play and we were actually allowed to listen in to the refs back and forth talk during plays that were being reviewed. That sort of transparency needs to be heard. Why can't we as a paying customer hear that conversation when millions are on the line? In reality, it's probably because sometimes it sounds like they don't know wtf they are doing and what to call.
I would have love to have heard how the incomplete catch was indisputable evidence given the angles and videos shown on Saturday's game that made it a 10 point swing from the get go.

TX is a top 10 ten currently. A win against OU isn't going to shoot them up to the top when they already have a loss. It might move them into the 6-8 range, which is what they were behind this week. Possibly 5 if some teams that should win end up losing.
I do hope TX gets all the calls against OU, Texas is going to need it with our offense against their defense.

I agree the receiver and Aubie was robbed. My point is, the ref wasn’t even looking. Someone else should have seen it though. No doubt

I think it is funny everyone is now saying OU will skull drag Texas. I dont see anyone doing that against the Texas front 7.
I lean OU but if Texas can get a downfield passing game and RBs get healthy they have a shot

To be fair, he said that is his conspiracy theorist AU friend's theory, not his personal belief

Texas is a paper tiger, but OU (and their QB) is also waaay overrated. they have a good D, but that's it.
I do expect them to beat Texas, though.

REC doin WORK!
When the call came through on the “Red Line” to see if we wanted to review it, the consensus was a big fat no. We’ll issue a statement AFTER the fact and enjoy the tantrums.
When we hung up the phone, a bunch of other REC members in the office erupted in laughter while we indulged in the finest of cheese and sipped Martini’s.
This control over the league office thing is a fricking TRIP I tell you.

Should we tell Josh that billions in gambling on CFB could have something to do with it?

I want to find a woman that will hold me like Oklahoma held our wide receivers.
