I hate Auburn but they got hosed by the refs in that game. 10 sacks allowed and were STILL within a score. I don’t know if Auburn is that good or if Oklahoma is that bad.

If not for the penalties, Auburn would have embarrassed them. This is just damage control for playoff time.

The sacks were somewhat by design. The Auburn gameplan was burning Oklahoma deep if they played cover 1. Those routes take a long time to develop and the QB has to hold the ball longer than normal

You act like there wasn’t bad calls on OU either. Or Or dropping 2 interceptions. Or the Pass Interference called on OU on an uncatchable ball that led to Auburn TD. It goes both ways.
Hell, Mateer fumbled inside the 30 when we were up 10-3.
Saying the refs beat Auburn is bullshite.

What does self inflicted damage such as fumbles or dropped interceptions have to do with the refs?
They only called maybe one PI against Oklahoma when they could've called three that should've been called.

What would expect from a program that claims the 1958 National Championship….when they didn’t even win the SEC and LSU finished ranked #1 in the AP Poll.
