Why didn’t Billy bench Lagway

after his 3rd-4th interception @LSU? The game was still very well within reach. Your backup is a cocky dude so why didn’t Billy give him a shot?
I believe he’s starting tomorrow however.

Why does Lagway throw off balance on his front leg? I can tell they watch zero tape.

Late against SF he was still throwing the ball instead of trying to eat some clock. Then you had the meltdown with the timeouts. I’m really starting to wonder if he even has a basic understanding of how the game is played.

I think Billy is way way way over his head as a HC and play caller.
But Lagway even after 3-4 INTs still gives that team its best chance to win.
And he’s not alone. LSU, SC, Vandy, OU others have a #1 QB so far ahead of the backup you can’t afford to pull them.

True but they lost the last 5 games of the season and now two others. Hes clearly not what they need.
With the backup QB clowning Lagway and their gauntlet of an upcoming few games, you’re guaranteed to get fired if you play Lagway at this point because it only gets tougher.

Not sure who the back-up is but if your guy is your guy then sometimes you gotta back him. People wondered the same thing when Lane didn't pull Corral. His rationale was that he believed in Matt and wanted Matt to know that. Next season, Matt led Ole Miss to a 10-2 regular season.

Lagway was really hurting the team with those turnovers. Pulling Lagway for a series or two just to settle him down a little would have been the best action to take. Who knows the backup may come in and spark the offense.

LSU didn't play against a good Florida team. I thought LSU fans were smart enough to know that.
