But how many out of conference losses? The SEC has 3.

UCLA has 3, Michigan has 1, Wisconsin has 1, Iowa has 1, Northwestern has 1, Minnesota has 1. So 8 if my count is correct.

That is impressive.

Irrelevant stat because it is the postseason that counts.

Not if you want to talk about the depth of a conference. Sure both conferences have great teams at the top. But the SEC is deeper.

I think Southern Cal will be a top team this season if they can figure out pass defense. They have a top 5 offense and finally have a legitimate front 7 and pass rush. Their DBs can't cover shite right now, however.

Aside from Ohio State and Oregon the big 10 is hot dog water

Too early to tell. Penn State has a very good defense and running game but their QB is very overrated. Nebraska seems to finally have their shite together but we shall see how they do against a better defense with Michigan. Michigan has zero quality wideouts. That won’t get it done

Penn State would not be able to keep up offensively their schedule is deliberately pathetic. Nebraska struggled with Cincinnati. The Allar hype is mind boggling

I've only watched bits and pieces of USC, but was impressed by what I saw. I think they may have a couple DBs out with injuries, but they are expected to return.

Georgia's QB looked good against Tennessee.

Yes they did. I watched that game. I’d like to see them play a real defense and then get their chance coming up Saturday. LSU struggled with La Tech was it? And then Struggled to put away a team with a lame duck coach and a turnover prone QB. Lots of football to be played.

Could also be labeled, "fewest intra-conference games played"

I understand no respects Penn State but they should have been in the NC game with Ohio State last year.

They scare me

Someone is salty that an SEC team that has been mid at best lately still beat Michigan. Meanwhile in Columbus...

The Clemson win is looking less impressive.

Meanwhile in Columbus we are defending national champions, 3-0, and the number 1 team in the country.
