This might actually be the year for Tennessee. Any given Saturday.

My Tennessee kinfolk consider the seasons between Fulmer and Heupel on the same level as the Israelites wandering in the desert.

Kirby just finished up his noon press conference.

Sounds like our Tight Ends are going to be used more in this game plan.

We should have our entire OL ready to go for this game.

Kirby flat out stated that it is going to be a very physical game.

It is

We had only gone over a decade without a SEC title once until then.

Bad hires, lots of turnover, coupled with our rivals having peak or close to peak points in their programs all during this period.

Vols are gonna be without both our starting DBs. If Stockton cant throw the ball this week then idk if he will learn how to. Yall should have no problem moving down the field through the air

This is true, but definitely Hood, Boo, and probably even Redmond would all be CB1 on either of the teams they've played so far.

I'm loving our historic train-running we have on UT right now, but look at the QBs that have started each of those games:

Fromm
Fromm
Bennett
Beck

Stockton isn' anywhere close to Junior Fromm/stet/beck right now. He might somewhat compare to a freshman fromm, but that team was elite on both sides of the ball for us and UT was hot garbage, neither of which are true in 2025.

Sooo yeah, I'm concerned. Wouldn't be shocked to see us win of course, because kirby, but I mean I woulnd't put any money on it.

If was anything like most of his press conferences at least two cups of extra-caffeinated were required for the press beforehand. But that’s how I prefer it with MY coach.

Definitely can't compare this year to 2019. James Coley was an elite offensive coordinator. He could also throw footballs over mountains.

As much as I'd love to have McCoy back & healthy at CB - The injuries at DT are probably my biggest concern. That's the one position you've gotta have playmakers at to make it tough on UGA's always physical and massive OL. Even if Stockton has been fairly pedestrian so far, if they can line it up and get 3.5+ypc with ease it doesn't really matter. Our health there doesn't have me feeling warm and fuzzy in this one.

Josh Hopeful hasn’t scored a passing TD against Kirby Smart I believe!

Your back up CB's will be untested against Stockton, so you don't need to worry. Both of them will look like Travis Hunter.

Screen pass, screen pass, run off guard for no gain, then punt.

He specifically was calling out Heupel vs Smart and passing TDs. These are just stats. Focusing on male reproductive organs in your response isn't a great look, either.

TBH, I feel a lot better after reading yesterday's post about Heupel's QBs through 2 games & how their stats are all about the same.

It also helps seeing how confident LSU fans are with their own good D and bad O, compared to the UGA board being Chicken Little central. We've put up some great seasons despite poor QB play and look to have a stronger group of RBs than recent years.

If we lose & Gunner has <275 yds i think he gets benched for Puglisi rest of the season
