After Ron Zook, every Florida coach has had at least one ten win season with the Gators. Meyer, Muschamp, McElwain, and Mullen. Besides Meyer, not really great coaches. The best season Billy Napier will have had will be 8-5 in his four years. Is he the worst Florida coach of all time?

to be fair, their schedule was brutal last year and this year.. they were rebuilding before that..

Their schedule is ridiculous this year.

vs USF who whipped Boise
@ 3 LSU
@ 5 Miami
vs 7 Texas
@ 19 Texas A&M
vs State who beat ASU
vs 6 Georgia
@ Kentucky
@ 22 Ole Miss
vs 20 Tennessee
vs 14 Florida State

just brutal

He is at least the worst since Raymond Wolf in the 50’s.

That’s the craziest / hardest schedule I’ve ever seen.

No. McElwain was. Dude is a trash human and an even worse coach! Speaking of which, he’s the stereotypical “Florida Man”!

You know it tough when 9 of the teams are top 25 and 4 in the top 10. The disparity in scheduling is comical. I’m pretty numb to it all.

Actually 10 teams top 25. Good grief.

Miami, Florida state and usf is an insane out of conference schedule on top of drawing the hardest conference schedule in the sec.

Spurrier pissed off the people who make the schedules now. I'm sure next years will be insane too.

Especially considering it had both USF and Miami as out of conference opponents.

Really it’s the athletics director who should be fired for scheduling them both in the same year.

Their only “breathers” are State, and @ Kentucky (Stoops normally has UK ready for this one).

Well it’s one way to oust the coach is to have an extremely difficult schedule every year. I don’t have a clue what the inner workings of the behind the scenes financial details are, but if Sunbelt Billy doesn’t come up with some Shakespeare shite in a hurry, he will be in the unemployment line soon enough

Worst of all time?

You must not be familiar with the Florida football program before 1989.

I haven't updated it for the loss this week (Napier is now 20-20), but if someone isn't familiar with UF's history before 1989, it's you.

How many championships does UF have before 1989?

We aren't talking about championship winning/caliber coaches. We are talking about who is the worst coach in UF history. Billy's the worst since Raymond Wolf from 1956-1959 who won a little over 30% of his games.

Also, can't wait to smack around you hillbilly's with an interim head coach in November.
