is tim tebow bad, apparently this was well known he's throws side armed with a low release point. just like tebow. tebow hired three different QB gurus trying to fix it. every one of them fixed it until he'd get in a game and he'd regress.
can't believe that neither one his uncles tried to fix it.

He hasn't played in years

He started 2 games last year and played some in all of the others.

I posted a thread about this on the scoreboard Saturday right after their loss at Ohio State. I can’t understand how he was ranked 5* plus and being discussed as a Heisman candidate when he throws a football like Uncle Rico.

Klubnick has a beautiful throwing motion … but it didn’t keep him from taking a huge “L” on Saturday.
It ain’t Arch’s throwing motion…..

Off target on 37% of his pass attempts vs Ohio State.
That’s all on Arch, not the play calling or anyone else.

yep that's him all right! my eyes! i can't unsee it! most coaches believe that by the time a kid gets to college you can't fix throwing motion, most NFL gm's believe that as well.
the only thing that made him a college prospect was his last name. if it were brown, or smith his dad would be paying his tuition

He didn't look like that in high school and he didn't look like that last year.
I feel like the game was too big for him. I don't mean that as some kind of personal indictment. It feels like no one has had that kind of pressure or attention in college football without earning it first. It was an away game in a really hostile environment against an outstanding team with a great coaching staff. To me it looks like he got the yips.
I don't know whether he recovers from it or not. Maybe he doesn't. But as a Texas fan I'm going to be hopeful and expectant. He has 3 easy games at home plus a bye week before heading to Gainsville. Let's see how he looks then.
The defense and running game look really stout, in any case, so that should help to some degree. But at the end of the day you have to be able to make the throws.
I will say he looked better in the fourth quarter. But even with that he had Ryan Wingo open on a short crossing pattern on 3rd and 5 that would have easily made a first down and biffed it. He'll have to play better than that, that's for sure, or he will end up being the bust a lot of people have been saying he will be. That performance in Columbus was really bad.

Reverts to bad form under stress. Very common and extremely difficult to overcome.

Maybe nerves too be honest. He he constantly threw a side armed ball. That’s like, not supposed to be your default throw.

Yeah and being from a QB family I’m really surprised they let him move throughout his career with a throwing motion that will never exist in the NFL.
At this rate between his accuracy and shitty throwing motion I project he will in fact be back for his senior year.
He has a lot of work to do.

Now we understand why he did not attend the elite 11 camp.

I'm not sure more than a handful of current NFL starters can make this throw
Joke about ULM, but that's a tight window and an absolute 60 yard rope. The difference? Feet were set and mechanics are sound

Takes some balls to uncork that ball on 3rd and 1 into such a tight window
