Program insiders told CBS Sports this offseason that DeBoer truly believes in his abilities to out-scheme and out-think opponents and prioritizes it over the mental toughness Saban used to drill into his teams.

I asked one source, who worked at Alabama under Saban, about what the issue with DeBoer and Alabama was, and the answer made perfect sense. "The only explanation I can give you is this," the source said, "you have to be a different breed to survive in the SEC."

I saw that on Reddit and declined to bring it here because we're already miserable enough. This fricking guy doesn't have a clue and needs to be gone.

If this man thinks he can out-scheme legit power conference football staffs, he truly is the Pac-12 merchant haters hoped he would be.

He should consider sharing these thoughts and schemes with the rest of the team since he seems content to stand on the sidelines like a mute asahole.

Seems to be the case unfortunately. Big difference in out-scheming whatever bargain bin staff places like UCLA, Stanford, Cal, and Oregon State trot out there most seasons and coaches in a league where your arse is gone if you don't win games early and often.

I read this earlier and it confirms what several of us were saying last year, he didn’t have the intensity, work ethic, or understanding of what it takes to win in the SEC. He was woefully unprepared in the 2 games he had a preparation disadvantage in last year, and I was really hoping he learned his lesson that it wouldn’t work at Bama due to being everyone’s Super Bowl. He didn’t learn the lesson. Mizzou and OK game could be absolutely miserable this year, and we may be a 4+ loss team. We’re in for a long few years.

Explains why he always looks lost on the sidelines. He’s trying to figure out why his schemes aren’t working against SEC teams who arguably have some of the best adjustment making staffs in the nation.

The, “Peak of Mount Stupid,” was last season.

We’re now in the, “Valley of Despair.”

We’ll see if he gains any wisdom and fixes his shite or if he stubbornly sticks with failure out of spite.

You have to know you’re stupid and need wisdom to learn and gain wisdom.

I sincerely and honestly believe Deboer is too stupid to know that he’s stupid. I’m not expecting him to change or fix anything.

And no one else should, either.

Lol, he couldn’t out-scheme a lower tier ACC squad.

In the transfer portal era you can't take what a team did last season and measure what they are now. They had one terrible season after going 13-0. They're still Florida State. Doesn't excuse how we played but FSU isn't a lower tier ACC team.

Is this the Rant? Why do we need 15 separate posts about the same thing?

At BEST they finish 3rd in the ACC, don’t make the playoffs and 9-4 is their ceiling. Maybe not lower tier but certainly not a top 10 team either. Alabama had no business getting beat by 2 touchdowns by that bunch.
