This is what happens in year 3 when you hire a proven coach and drop bags for elite players

Something tells us you aren't betting any money on that.

Arnold may not survive September. He can’t run this much and expect to stay healthy enough to be effective. Without the QB run Auburn had nothing tonight.

Agreed. We have a great WR corps and barely threw the ball at all. It’s Payton Thorne part 2. Eff that. But WDE anyway. More bourbon time.

You know we have said this for decades about every running QB and yet most never have a season ending injury. If you take away the run from Auburn and make them one dimensional you’ll beat them but a lot of sec teams seem to have trouble with running QBs. They don’t look like a playoff team right now but they are better than they have been the last 5/6 years.

Why go away from what is working? That is what all you dipshits said about freeze last year.
No reason not to run when they can’t stop it.

He will be so beat up by the end of October that he will be ineffective. It doesn’t take a season ending injury. Auburn will have to develop a better run game with the backs and at least develop a short passing game to take off some of the pressure. He will be beat to pieces running the ball that much.

I remember hearing this about Cam and Nick Marshall.

Cam was a very thick body so he could take more punishment than most Qb’s. Marshall was elusive and fast so people never hit him solid. Arnold is big and athletic but nothing like those 2 guys you just mentioned.

Exactly. Go with whatever works. Good road win for Auburn to start the season. Baylor is no pushover. Auburn has drastically upgraded talent and pushed Baylor around all night.

They played Baylor, calm down.

Auburn will have a better record than LSU

What does he weigh, a buck fifty?

Hugh Freeze hasn't proven shite other than he can recruit. Especially at Auburn. Hopefully talent acquisition can hide his short comings though.
