I love how his (and his dumbass dad's) attempt to control the narrative completely backfired because it was so patently obvious what was going on. If fans of other teams are saying these things (which I fully agree with it), you know you goofed.

If it’s not important enough for you to consider when picking a school it’s not an excuse to leave. If Dad really gave a shite about anything but money he would have done a Google search and realized what offense Josh has ran since 2014.

You still have to go through progressions in their scheme and read the whole field.
I"m not saying he's right because Nico should obviously have known the offense Heupel ran and how it worked. I don't really buy this at all.
But Heupel's scheme pretty much does have the QB make one or two reads on one side of the field and then take off running if it isn't there. Much of the time, the receivers on the other side don't even run a route. Just jog. There only purpose is to keep defenders on their side so they aren't involved in the play.

I thought Klatt made some good points. He had two more years of eligibility and if he was starting but not happy with his progress, then it would be natural to consider other options. I don't think it was about money. They probably knew he wasn't going to get a big raise. Even if he'd made an extra million for the next year or two, that's not much compared to QB money in the NFL.
