This is the only correct answer.

Boomer Sooner is a close #2.

Rocky Top is the only one - Vols love to sing it and opponents hate to hear it. What could be better than that?

Rocky Top is a terrible song. By far, the worst fight song in the SEC although it is not the official fight song of Tennessee (I think).

The real fight song is Fight Vols Fight. No other school has a song like Rocky Top that completely embodies East TN living. The closest would be if LSU made Boosie a constant at their games

texas plays that I’ve been working on the railroad song, it’s fun to sing along to if you’re a child but it gets annoying…

Boomer fricking sooner. It wouldn’t be so bad if they didn’t play it 100 times a game. Was especially fun during those blowout losses to stoops.

That’s not our fight song. The fight song is “Texas Fight” you are referring to the eyes of Texas

Rocky Top is the answer. Awful. I grew up in Tennessee. High school games, your team’s band plays it and so does every other high school band. Sucks.

Rocky Top. When you guys from the Bevo 12 have been in the SEC long enough you'll get it.

I would say Arkansas/Kentucky considering it’s the same tune.

First time I went to an SEC basketball tournament back in the early ‘90s I was completely confused when both bands were playing the same song. Weird and completely unoriginal.

Texas Fight is the fight song.

And not only does it mention A&M, it was inspired by a yell A&M had already created.

quote:

Hunnicut’s original motivation for the song was a counterpoint from taunts, songs and yells from the rival Texas Aggies, which he claimed ridiculed "The Eyes of Texas."

"Long before I entered The University of Texas in 1909 and until about the year 1928 the Aggies had one of the most effective and awe inspiring songs used by any student body anywhere any time. ‘Farmers Fight’ at that time was their sacred College song," Hunnicut wrote in a 1952 letter. "It occurred to me that an effective way to strike back at the Aggies was to write a ‘Texas Fight’ song in answer to their(s)."

Translation: they got mad we made fun of their “I’ve been working on the railroad song” and decided to retaliate with a fight song. But they are too stupid and unoriginal so they just hijacked ours.
