Odd-Tennessee switching from Nike to Adidas

IIRC, Nike pays considerably better than Adidas does in terms of shoe money to schools. If so, this move makes zero sense.

Or maybe Adidas is offering more money than Nike? I would be surprised by that but you never know. I think the players/recruits (for the most part) prefer Nike. For that reason, I hope Bama sticks with Nike for that reason UNLESS (and this is a big "unless") Adidas offers WAAAAAAY more than Nike. I'll believe that when I see it though.

I don't like it either, but high school kids love it.

Well with Nike we are basically subsidizing Oregon, who basically benefits the most out of this whole NIL thing

There is no difference between Nike and Jordan outside the logo. As long as we get a good deal and not like the deal brokered by Battle. I think we are good.

Jordan logo would be garbage. I’d rather go back to Russell athletic.

I'm all for that. Guess it means I just need to preserve my existing Bama gear because there is a next to zero chance that I'm buying apparel with a Jumpman logo

They just announced last week, the closing of the last facility of Russell Athletic in Alex City, where it all started...NAFTA started it’s downfall, Fruit of the Loom buying them in the mid 2000's finished them off.

Not hating. I had one of the jackets as a kid.
To clarify.....I mean't it was crazy that everyone in Alabama had a Miami Hurricane jacket over the Tide/Tigers.
