If the playoff had started in the year 2000, LSU would only have one natty this century.

USC would’ve won it in 2003 and UGA would’ve won it in 2007.

If ifs and buts were candy and nuts, we'd all have a Merry Christmas

2003 - LSU had the better defense. It would be close but LSU wins.
2007 - Georgia was good toward the end but you can’t lose to South Carolina and Tennessee. LSU beat both teams UGA lost to.

Are we talking about the 4 team or 12 team CFP?

Interesting way to tell us we have more championships since the year 2000

I don't know if UGA makes a 4 team CFP in 07.

Final AP poll before bowl games had us at 4.

UGA was 5th in the BCS.
No doubt y'all were balling at the end of the season but y'all also had 2 losses and didn't even play in the SEC title game.

We would’ve gotten in.

Everyone said the same thing about FSU going into selection sunday too.

Georgia would have been in. The final BCS top eight:
1. Ohio State
2. LSU
3. Virginia Tech
4. Oklahoma
5. Georgia
6. Missouri
7. USC
8. Kansas
Even though the Hokies were a major conference champion, would they have received a bid considering their early 41 point loss to LSU?
If we are talking the top four not including VT, then it would have been:
Ohio State vs. Georgia
LSU vs. Oklahoma
Or
Ohio State vs. Oklahoma
LSU vs Georgia
That’s only if Georgia would be more worthy than power conference champions USC and West Virginia.

How you figure?
LSU won the 2007 title in part because they at beat Tennessee at a neutral site
Meanwhile Georgia lost to Tennessee badly

I assume the committee would've swapped VT and OU to avoid a semi final rematch.
Remember that one of UGA's losses was at home to 5-7 South Carolina and their other loss was a blowout to Tennessee.

Which of these two teams played in national championship games in 2003 and 2007??? Oh yeah, neither.

If my mom had wheels, she'd be a bicycle.

I hate to break it to you, but your mom is already the village bicycle.

You aren't trying hard enough. Maybe take up figure skating? You're already on slippery ice (pleonasm intended).
