I think if Tennessee keeps practicing hard and has a positive attitude, this might finally be the year!

They haven’t won the conference since 1998.

That a long time for a “power” to not wrap up the conference.

I would give them the 6th best odds to win the SEC. But let's be honest, an SEC Championship in 2025 for the footVols isn't happening!

Vols have the longer win streak in this rivalry at 9 straight. Now it’s the dawgs trying to tie that this year. Just shows how it can all change.

Unless Kirby leaves, nothing is changing

From a serious perspective, the Vols are gonna struggle this year. Not just losing Nico "Show Me The Money", but most of their OL and their biggest loss...Sampson. They're gonna miss him.

I find it insane Georgia is top ten in all but one of those games.

Tennessee has seen rough times for the past 25 years vs lots of teams.

Since 2000, Tennessee has the following W-L record vs these teams:

6-19 Georgia
6-19 Florida
7-18 Alabama
1-7 Auburn
3-7 LSU
4-5 Arkansas

Looks almost like Georgia’s W/L column against Alabama.

Someone would have to be a complete inbred cousin fricker to make the comparison. Give Bama credit for being more clutch, but Georgia was up tby 14 points in the second half in both of the 2018 games we played. Saban had to pull a rabbit out of his butt both times and change quarterbacks. Good for him. Then time went on and Saban eventually coached in his last national championship game, where the other team was more physical and it turned into a 4th quarter shite kicking, because football is still a phsyical sport and the more physical team deserves to win the game.

Careful, you are sounding a lot like all the Cajuns over here still clutching their pearls about what IFs and moral victories.

What Georgia's pass rush did to Bryce Young in the national title game was immoral, but I get your point. It's just that the Tennessee comparison was a low blow. No one wants to be compared to Tennessee, I guess.

Yeah, it was awful. We'd have been at least a 5 point favorite in any CFP matchup and drug Michigan again at some point. Would've been first three-peat in D1 history. But then Saban got the best of Kirby again.

Um....so you are saying he does not matter anymore? Ask Alabama how the change from Saban was. Usc from Pete Caroll, Florida from Urban Meyer, etc. Sports have ups and down, Homerism at it's best. You are not the New York Yankees.
