Trying to get some ideas

I usually have the basic stuff

Pizza, Chicken wings or breast, Nachos and cheese, Pulled Pork, etc

Any ideas wanting something else.

Before it is even said..I am only asking about Saturdays not everyday or you would be extremely fat.

Tomato sandwiches with salt and pepper and lettuce and mayo on sourdough bread; heirloom tomatoes if I can get them; ginger ale; Bai drinks; different kinds of nuts like cashews and pistachios, including some that are chocolate covered; red beans and rice.

Do you put something like sausage in the red beans and rice?

You will be best served going to a Rouses or Publix and just buying a platter of some shite they have out there on Saturday for people who watch football but can’t cook.

Fried chicken from my favorite store. Nachos and cheese dip or salsa. Tennessee whiskey to sip on after eating.

Are you asking for yourself? Or are you hosting a lot of people?

Yes, I like sausage in red beans and rice. Some people put chunks of ham. I lived for thirty years in New Orleans, and there are hundreds of different recipes for red beans and rice. Anything can end up in the final product. One of the funniest things Ben McDonald ever said when he was interviewed about tailgating was: "You don't really want to know what all is at the bottom of a batch of gumbo."

I cut up smoked sausages, wrap them in bacon, and put mozzarella cheese on top. Serve with bbq sauce. I also drink the rest of my dinner.

I make a big batch spinach and artichoke dip a lot during the season. Leftover dip goes well straight (with chips) or chicken, baked potatoes, basically everything.

Wife's cooter. She shaves it during football season. It's a tradition.
