My friend's mama makes these muffalettas once or twice a year when we get together to tailgate, and they are a godsend after a long game hootin and hollerin

I don't even like olives but I am all in on the muffalettas

If i'm being perfectly honest I think it might be rotel dip. You can just keep popping over to the crockpot for a scoop without having to fix a plate and sit down and eat. It's convenient and delicious

We've always called it gameday dip but its 2 blocks of cream cheese, a can of corn, and a few tablespoons of chopped pickled jalapeños. Mix it well and refrigerate overnight. Served with Fritos scoops and tortilla chips.

Muffalatas are dead to me, was at a trade show in Louisiana years ago with people not from Louisiana and they all scraped off the olive salad onto the table.

Grossest thing I have ever seen on that scale.

Simple tailgate is Publix Fried Chicken.

The meal prep is a lot of work but I love a bacon wrapped cream cheese filled jalapeno popper smoked on a grill.

Sir this is the SEC, not a 10AM Michigan pre-game wine and cheese alumni fundraiser.
