How are Nussmeier and Manning Heisman favorites?

Neither one has accomplished..... anything.

I'd bet the field against these two. It just makes no sense how Nussmeier's pedestrian showing last year and Manning's namesake have put them 1-2 in odds of winning the Heisman.

Help it make sense!

Pedestrian showing? He put up good numbers against good teams. He had some head scratchers but it was also his first year starting.

So did Will Rogers under the Pirate. So what? Stats are about the only metric that Heisman voters seem to value. LSU and Kelly have sold their soul to the offensive side of the ball and defense be damned.

We bought several proven portal Defenders recently, so hopefully it balances out

Odds makers usually pretty accurate when it comes to this stuff. What's your preseason heisman list dipshit?

Nussmeier looked pretty good last year. Arch hasn't had enough live bullets fired at him to know if he's up to the hype. Nussmeier is the favorite, but the winner will end up having a last name that rhymes with a bone in your leg.

Nussmeier completed 64% of his passes, 29 tds with 12 interceptions, and is mobile as my poor 14 year old arthritic dog

Also lost to a shitty Florida team. He couldn’t do anything in that game.

If you find a place that will take that bet without you having to take large negative odds, please let me know so I can get in on that action.

Nussmeier is the only returning 4,000+ yard passer from last year. All he has to do is clean up turnovers, but whatever you say I guess.

And 4k yards through the air.

He was better in 2024 than Burrow was in 2018, or Daniels in 2022.

Did Jayden Daniels and Joe Burrow show anything special the year before they won the Heisman? I would argue that Nussmeier had a very productive and pre Heisman year last year. 4,000+ yards and 29TD’s with a 64% completion percentage playing in the SEC will put you at the top of that list.

So tell us who should be the favorites? Quit whining like a bitch and tell us who else it should be.

The Heisman is nothing but media hype. It honestly shouldn’t matter as much as it once did because it’s really just there for a 3 hour TV special in December.

It's usually indicative of who the best player is...

Is it not?

Because if you ever accidentally watched the game of college football last season you would see these two have a couple of the highest ceiling’s.
