Tennis has got to be one of the cheapest sports to play.

Cam Johnson running around with the trophy and he hasn’t pitched a game since 5/31. Not sure if he was hurt but has a pitcher taken a bigger fall than going from a Friday night starter to not even completing an inning in the post season?

So, let someone else educate and raise our kids? Right! That’s the problem with society these days, no one wants to parent, especially the democrats, government is your daddy!
Kylee Edwards back in the portal

LINK
After a great year and with the position locked down, she enters the portal. Beth isn’t doing too great with portal loses and no additions.

It was tough to watch and listen to because you can tell those guys are not in the business of asking questions. I could only watch the first few minutes and had to find something else.

I think he’s draft eligible.
Edit, scratch that, he’s draft class of 2027

Jay has said he will now recruit and play his guys for what they recruited for. Braun was ranked as the #1 First baseman in the country. CJJ regrets not playing the younger guys that LSU recruited to play their position and then get portal guys that didn’t pan out. I’m sure he apologized to the younger guys just as he said so in most of his press conferences. He wants to keep Braun to play 1st Base and he will. He won’t get Hawsey who is strictly a 1st baseman and rock the chemistry again.
Braun has played well at 1B but even Braun said his predominate position is OF and when asked why his recruiting profile has him as a 1st baseman, he said that it was likely just how they projected him but that he never played 1B in HS. It was something he said in an interview after the 1st game of the season when he was in the lineup.

Depends if you’re sedated during the intubation period but I would suggest that if you’re semi conscious and breathing with mild vent support, like some background positive pressure, it probably feels like breaking through a large straw.

I definitely wouldn’t be defending him. If he gambled on college football games, he should have his eligibility forfeited.

if this is in Louisiana--and this is one area where Louisiana is better than most states--then either it is your land or else your dad did you dirty. Land your dad inherited from your grandfather would have been your dad's separate property. If he died without a will, then it would go to you and any other children of your dad, not his wife or stepchildren. If he died with a will, the only way it could go to his wife / your stepmother is if your dad willed it to her. Maybe you should talk to a lawyer who specializes in wills and estates.
This is an important designation here. If the property was never re titled in your stepmom’s name, she may have zero claim to the land, especially if it was inherited. The key would be that any assets related to the land weren’t intermingled as community property somehow. Like when my dad passes away and leaves me and my sister to be 50% heirs of his estate, as long as I keep it separate from my current spouse, it will pass 100% to my biological kids.

Doesn’t the tsunami destroy everything in its wake? Let’s just hope it’s the opponents and not LSU that gets destroyed.

Usually when a spouse dies, the other spouse has usufruct of the assets, unless specified that the assets go 100% to the spouse in a will. In this case, the stepmother has access to the property and shouldn’t be able to sell or give it away without the children of the deceased permission because it’s legally 50% theirs.

My MIL had a friend call to see if she could stay with her a while because she had run out of money. The woman and her husband were wealthy socialites in their day but the husband had passed away. Fast forward, the woman supposedly met a doctor on line that was doing some mission work in Africa. He is suddenly kidnapped and he reaches out to his love for the ransom money so he isn’t tortured and killed. This woman liquidated her house and every asset she had and sent it to the supposed kidnappers. She was using her SS for her and her little dog to live in a cheap hotel with the small amount of cash she had left and was almost out. My MIL refused to let her stay with her because she was afraid these same kidnappers would come over to the US and get her and her friend if she was at her house. MIL refused to believe her friend was scammed, so as far as I know the friend still lives in a roach motel with her little dog. MIL now lives with us so we can watch over her.
The internet, mobile phones, and other technologies have been great for society but they have also opened up this whole other world of deception used to take advantage of the most vulnerable, the elderly.

If, as you imply, he is in the early stages of dementia, there's no lesson to be taught. He's incapable of learning it. Behavioral changes often precede memory issues. He is probably further along than you realize. Try not to be angry. It's not something he can help. At this point your only goal should be protecting him.
It was a fleeting thought because of how stubborn he has become regarding many issues, including this issue with us trying to protect him. This is a man who has some generational wealth that he will never need and can change the lives of his grandkids but is more willing to support some stranger over giving Christmas gifts or birthday gifts to his grandkids, which is something my mother always did. That’s another reason why this event has been so frustrating from many aspects. My wife’s mother is also exhibiting some early stages of dementia and I often tell her not to get angry with her mother because of the disease and how it’s not her fault.

I just posted this in a Tech thread on an unrelated subject, but it might help with blocking some of the sites used for a lot of these scams. It will help protect every device on their home network, but won't do anything if they drive away from home and are on 5G. quote: Cloudflare offers a DNS service called 1.1.1.2 that blocks access to known malicious domains, providing an additional layer of security against malware. This service redirects users attempting to access harmful sites to a non-existent address, preventing any connection to those sites.
My son is tech savvy. He hasn’t finished his college degree but is in IT cyber security type major. He is the one that has been able to do most of the IT interventions. The problem is my father can just get off of WiFi and do whatever he wants. Thankfully, my father isn’t very tech savvy and needs my son to help with many things. He was able to remove all the communications apps on his phone and then remove the App Store where it can’t be searched to add more apps. The next step is to get my father on a family account to where everything he does has to be approved.
