The jury clerk played way too big of a role in the first case. She was influencing the jury by coaching them on things they should look for. Even one juror said she was influenced by the clerk. The stuff she did was illegal and didn’t afford a fair trial to the defendant. I have no doubt that another jury will find him guilty, as it should be but this decision was justified based on the jury tampering that was done.

He was recently promoted to AAA

Isn’t he able to come back if he wants to?
Might as well bring in the guy that is either going to walk in the winning run or beam the next batter to bring in the winning run!

Has anyone ever wished a team would just score one more run to help stop the pain? :rotflmao:
This season is obviously a loss. Jay needs to wear out the road trying to find players that want to bleed purple and gold, pitchers who can throw strikes, fielders that can field, and a catcher that can block balls in the dirt.
Yeskie isn’t getting fired. That narrative needs to stop. He’s taken 4 different teams to the college World Series and 3 teams to the finals winning it twice. He didn’t just stop knowing how to coach pitchers. For some reason, two of our main pitchers we were counting on have regressed this year, Williams and Rizy. We haven’t had the top line starters that we have had in past years and our catchers can’t block pitches in the dirt, leading to too many wild pitches.

I like the original Toby version better. Man I sure do miss that guy! One of my all time favorites in country music. His love for America poured out in his songs.

If you took a poll here, I’m sure Fleming would be much higher. I’m for Fleming.
In theory that’s how it should work. When I played college ball back in 1988-1992, we would get signaled the pitch by the infielders and I would adjust my position in the outfield based on it being a fastball or off speed pitch. I would frequently play left handed hitters in short left field because not many hitters had opposite field power. I would frequently be in position to catch those poked fly balls that would routinely drop behind third or short.
We need our catcher to spend the whole summer at a blocking camp, especially Arrambide.
This is the type of player Jay needs to be recruiting to play at LSU. Project, have you heard of Aidan Mouton? I know he is currently signed and committed to Kansas but this is a kid who can field, hit, and run the bases. He would be a great addition to the infield for next year.

Made the trip to Stark Vegas this weekend and best SEC hospitality I’ve experienced as an opponent. Even during the times we were ahead in the game they were very friendly. Bunch of blue collar folks and now my SEC fave when not playing the Tigers! Great venue and great fans if you get the opportunity do yourself a favor and make the trip!

Back in my baseball playing days, we played a game at Ms.State. It was 1991. I was playing Left Field and a ball was crushed by a Ms. State player. I proceeded to drop step and heading straight back to the fence. As I reached up and caught the ball above my head, I crashed pretty hard into the fence. There were a bunch of Ms. State fans on the other side of the fence. They began congratulating me on a great catch. I was pretty shocked to see fans acknowledge a great play, even when it came from the opposing team. I view Ms. State fans as great baseball fans of the game, no matter how contentious the competition is.
And Kennedy would be a republican today based on how far left the left has gone.
Kade was a LSU commit when Maneri was the coach. If I recall correctly, Kade had committed as a Freshman. At least I was aware he was going to LSU when he was a sophomore at St. Paul’s HS. I know when Jay got to LSU, one of his main concerns was keeping Kade from going in the draft. He’s said as much.
At least softball didn’t get swept at Ms State!

You obviously don't know shite about Peabody.

That was the word many years ago when Peabody had lower admissions requirements.

Apparently he was a guest at the hotel. I’m betting the SS agent was shot by friendly fire. Watching the video there was all kinds of potential for crossfire.

When the shooter breaks through the area, you can see when he shoots the SS agent. The agent recoils back then turns and engages the suspect as he passes him up.

Probably got admitted through Peabody!

DP in the middle, in on the corners.... it's like really common, friend.

For those who have never played baseball, this is hard for them to understand. The infield should have been playing in on that play, especially the corners infielders. Reaves catches that ball on the first hop and cuts off that run if he is playing in.
