tbh Texas is so overrated historically. They have just won a ton of games playing against nobody teams in the third hardest conference.

They also have twice as many national championships as Tennessee.

It Alabama and OU for the top two. Texas is 3 but you can make a case for them being 4

Invalid list. OU and Texas have only been in SEC 1 year if you’re only doing SEC teams. Georgia and LSU are in the top 3 with Alabama.

Oklahoma and Texas shouldn’t be included in historical SEC rankings. They should only be considered if you’re looking at statistics from 2024 onward, when they officially joined the conference

Of course.

I'm sorry, what?

In what universe is Tennessee a tier above LSU, Oklahoma, or Georgia?

This is the most correct ranking.

The SEC now has 2 true blue bloods in Bama and Oklahoma, but Bama is in a tier of its own. I'd probably bump Texas down to the Tier 3 group though.

Oklahoma really has only had one bad decade in their history. 7 National titles and 7 Heisman winners. If that's not tier 1 I don't know what is.

When exactly was the last time Tennessee won anything meaningful in football?
