You would think lack of player development would hurt Oats on the recruiting trail, but it hasn't.

You'd also think that losing to a team that doesn't develop players would hurt other teams' recruiting even more.

Funny how 3 of the SEC's worst teams had the 3 top picks

And 2 were freshmen. I hate the one and done rule. We need to fix that and make it like football or baseball. I don't care if they go pro, but if they commit, it's 2-3 years. Along with the portal, some basketball teams completely change from one year to the other and you don't even really get a chance to hate the players from rival teams properly. Kentucky has basically been unhateable for 20 years. I guess we all just hated the coach, since he was the only constant.

Yeah, since 2020 he's only had Kira Lewis, Herb Jones, Josh Primo, JD Davison, Brandon Miller, and Noah Clowney drafted, and numerous other guys with developmental and two-way contracts, like Keon Ellis and Alex Reese.

Last year Alabama was one of only three teams in the country to have NBA Lottery picks in back-to-back drafts.

It's pathetic, really.

That's not exactly a murderer's row, other than Miller obviously.

Over the last 5 drafts Alabama and Nate Oats have had 6 players drafted. LSU has had two players drafted over that same time frame.

It is really stupid for a LSU fan to use NBA draft picks to try to troll Alabama. But stupid has never stopped you.
